What do I wear?
Please wear comfortable clothing. Sessions are generally very relaxing so we would like you to be as comfortable as possible.
Do I need to bring anything?
Please bring along anything you think may be relevant for the session e.g. test results, supplements etc.
Is kinesiology pregnancy safe?
Kinesiology is pregnancy safe. Please advise the practitioner prior to booking your appointment if you are in your first trimester to confirm suitability.
Do I need to do any preparation?
Please ensure you have completed the ‘New Client Form’ before the initial session. There is no further preparation required.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please notify the practitioner at least 24 hours prior to your treatment if you wish to cancel or reschedule. Bookings cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment will forfeit the deposit of $50. We appreciate your understanding.
Can I claim with private health for kinesiology?
Kinesiology is currently not covered under private health.

What do I wear?

What to expect for my first session?
Your first session includes a consultation to discuss your health history, goals, and concerns, followed by treatment using fine needles, which are usually painless when administered correctly and safely.
What is acupuncture & is it safe?
Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine technique that involves inserting thin, sterilised, single use, needles into specific points on the body to elicit a response.
Acupuncture is generally considered safe but occasionally (as with all health treatments may be associated with possible adverse reactions in individual cases. Always ensure your practitioner is a trained and licensed professional, using sterilised needles and following strict hygiene standards.
Are there any side effects of acupuncture?
When acupuncture is performed correctly and safely, effects are minimal and may include mild soreness or occasional light bruising around the needle insertion area. You may also leave feeling relaxed or slightly tired after treatment.
Does acupuncture hurt?
When performed correctly and safely, there shouldn’t be any pain.Most patients experience minimal discomfort, as the needles are very thin. Some feel a slight prink, tingling or warmth during the session.
How to prepare for a session?
It's recommended to eat a light meal beforehand, stay hydrated, and avoid caffeine or strenuous activities before your appointment.

Yes! Private health rebates are available, please bring your private health card for processing.
