Retreat FAQ’s

Your Questions, Answered

  • This retreat is for those who feel the quiet call to slow down without switching off — people ready to soften long-held patterns, restore nervous system balance, and reconnect with their inner guidance through embodied, subtle work.

You don’t need prior experience with retreats, meditation, or body-based practices — just an openness to presence and listening.

  • This is a small, intimate retreat with a maximum number of 16 guests. Keeping the group intentionally small allows for depth, safety, and meaningful connection, while still offering spaciousness and privacy.

  • Each day follows a gentle rhythm rather than a rigid schedule.

Mornings may begin with optional meditation or quiet reflection, followed by breakfast and guided group experiences. Afternoons are intentionally spacious — inviting rest, journaling, swimming, hot and cold therapy, or time alone in nature. Evenings close with shared meals, integration practices, or quiet time.

Participation is always an invitation, never an obligation.

  • Yes — very much so.

This retreat is designed to support nervous system regulation, rest, and reconnection. The work is subtle, embodied, and grounded. There is no pushing, fixing, or performing — only space for what’s ready to unfold at your pace.

  • Rather than aiming for a specific outcome, the retreat creates the conditions for change to arise naturally.

    Guests often experience:
    • A deeper sense of calm and regulation
    • Increased clarity and inner trust
    • A softening of long-held patterns
    • A renewed relationship with their body and intuition

Integration continues well beyond the retreat itself.

  • The retreat is facilitated by three experienced practitioners — Julia, Bonnie, and Charlie — each offering their unique craft and way of working.

Together, they weave kinesiology, acupuncture, energy work, reiki, somatic awareness, and deep presence to support a layered and holistic experience.

  • Most rooms are twin-share, designed for comfort, privacy, and ease. Sharing is ideal for solo travellers open to connecting with another like-minded guest, or friends attending together.

Private king rooms are also available in limited numbers.

Room allocations are confirmed after your deposit, based on preference and availability.

  • Many guests attend solo. The retreat is designed to feel welcoming, safe, and spacious — with opportunities for connection as well as plenty of time for solitude.
